Click2Pay no longer an option for US players
Yet another one bites the dust for US players on March 24th, 2007.
Click2Pay has withdrawn its services from the US market.
Joining the ranks of Neteller,
Firepay, and others,
Click2Pay had no other option but to
discontinue processing deposits from players based in the United States
because there was no way for players to receive the funds into their
bank accounts.
At first, they weren’t accepting new registrations from players in
the US, and now they have eliminated any type of deposits coming from
the USA. It seems that Click2Pay was one of the only options left for US
players, but strict US gambling laws have deterred payment processors
from getting sued or worse.
The US Government has been cracking down on the casinos, sportsbooks,
poker rooms and bingo halls making it more difficult for US players to
enjoy one of their favorite pastimes. US players had their last bit of
hope when Click2Pay agreed to still accept their deposits although they
were unable to withdrawal less then $1,500 at a time.
There are many organizations that are fighting to make sure that the
US still has the freedom to do what they want with their own money. It
seems that this is a slow process, but there is hope as many find
loopholes in the law.
For a
list of casinos that accept US players and what deposit methods are
accepted, keep an eye on this site and we’re updating frequently to make
it easy on all of the members.
