ACH Payments
ACH is short for Automated Clearing House. This
method is used quite often in online gaming because all you have
to do is enter your account number from your bank along with your
routing number and you will be able to deposit directly from your
bank into the casino or gaming establishment.
There are a few downfalls to this method, one being that the
gaming establishment will have your personal information within
their software instead of using a third party which keeps your
details private and encrypted.
Many RTG
casinos use ACH and the funds are immediately credited to
your account upon verification from the casino which is very quick.
One upside to this method is that there are no fees involved.
The casino doesn't collect a fee and your bank usually won't charge
one since this is considered an ACH method and not a bank wire,
which may incur in large fees.
Another downside to this deposit method is that the gaming establishment
usually does not offer any deposit bonuses with ACH because they
are taking a risk that the money is in your bank account like
you say it is.
Another downside is if you want to withdrawal, you're probably
looking at a 10 day wait for your depositing funds to clear before
they allow you to take any funds out. If you're willing to wait
and this seems fair to you, then it should be a breeze to make
deposits. It IS very easy to do and very quick if you want to
play immediately. You don't have to fund a third party first and
most gamblers hate waiting. With this in mind, ACH is the way
to go for them.
